Nature has always been loved and recorded by artists. Long and Fulton, the protagonists of Land Art, have rediscovered the direct encounter with the world: the fascination of a long walk in the heart of the countryside, the reality and the vision of concrete contact, unmediated, with the presence of the primordial earth. Land Art, and in particular Richard Long and Hamish Fulton, have made an artistic revolution renouncing the traditional means of representation, immersing themselves in direct contact with the light, earth, water, air and the endless forms of the wind. Art as the essence of an experience, not a representation of this.
De Primi Fine Art, with this exhibition, is pleased to pay homage to the choice made by these important members of the Land Art to go beyond the technological barriers to return to the communion with nature.
