Born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina, February 19, 1899, from parents of Italian origin.
After completing his studies in Master Building in Italy, he returned to Argentina in 1921 and works with his father in the atelier of sculpture.
In 1928 he returned to Italy to attend the Academy of Brera. In the following years also began to take an interest in ceramics.
In early 1940 he moved to Buenos Aires where he worked intensely and wined numerous sculpture competitions. Professor of modeling at the School of Fine Arts, in 1946 he created with others a private art school: the Academy of Altamira, which became an important center of cultural promotion. Is here that, in contact with young artists and intellectuals, he develops his theories of artistic processes that lead to the publication of the Manifiesto Blanco.
He returned to Milan in April 1947, where he founded the “Movimento Spaziale” and, with other artists and intellectuals, he published the First Manifesto dello Spazialismo. He started again is work as a ceramist at Albisola and his collaboration with the architects. The following year he released the Second Manifesto of Spatiality. In 1949 he exhibited at the Galleria del Naviglio the Environment Space in black light causing great excitement and sensation.
In the same year he founded his most original invention, when, perhaps driven by his origins as a sculptor in search of a third dimension produced his first paintings by piercing the canvas.
Participation in international exhibitions and events follow one another continuously and the museums, galleries and collectors buy his works.
After leaving Milan and moving to Comabbio, village of origin of his family where he had restored the old farmhouse, he died September 7, 1968.
